Médoc and Graves, 1985

1985 was an excellent Bordeaux vintage. The weather gave cause for brief concern, but after the sunniest, hottest and driest September on record, a huge harvest was cropped, and those brave enough to hold out until October to pick their Cabernet Sauvignon produced some truly outstanding wines.
