Australia, 2009

2009 was a challenging year for Australian wine growers who had to cope with both drought conditions and wet and cold weather at flowering and further rain which caused some disease. The result of both these two extremes was savagely reduced yields.

However, that being said, the best producers, especially in South Australia, still managed to produce some outstanding wines.
