Estate Notes

Two Hands Zippy's Block Shiraz 2008 is one of Two Hands' flagship series wines - a single vineyard Shiraz made exclusively from fruit sourced from a single vineyard - the esteemed Marananga in the Barossa Valley.

Zippy's Block 2008 is a truly exceptional Shiraz - concentrated, complex and sophisticated and one of Australia's finest wines.

Two hands was established by Michael Twelftree and Richard Mintz in 1999 in order to make the best possible Shiraz in Australia; and in just ten years their eclectically named wines have consistently won rave reviews. In fact, Two Hands Wines were listed in Wine Spectator's Top 100 for the last five years and Robert Parker further heaped the praise on, pronouncing Two Hands as "the finest negociant operation south of the equator."

Reviews

"Rich and supple, brimming with complex coffee, tobacco and dusky spice-accented ripe blueberry, dark plum and sloe flavors, hinting at juniper and bay leaf on the finish. Long and generous, this has miles to go, tempting as it is to drink now." Wine Spectator

"Two Hands is a negociant operation run impeccably by Michael Twelftree. It reflects the best that can be sourced from all over South Australia.” eRobertParker.com
