Estate Notes

Two Hands’ Lily's Garden Shiraz 2007 comes from the estate's 'Garden series'; their super premium range of Shiraz from one of the finest Shiraz growing regions in Australia.

In fact, Lily's Garden Shiraz is the pick of the bunch from Two Hand's McLaren Vale vineyards; a generous wine with cascading blue fruits and a rich long palate.

Two Hands was established by Michael Twelftree and Richard Mintz in 1999 in order to make the best possible Shiraz in Australia, and their eclectically named wines have consistently won rave reviews. In fact, Two Hands has earned a place in the Wine Spectator Top 100 Wines for ten years in a row, the only winery in the world to ever achieve this feat.

Reviews

“My favorite of the Garden Series is the 2007 Shiraz Lily’s Garden from McLaren Vale. Purple-colored, it has an enticing perfume of balsam wood, lavender, incense, pepper, bacon, and blueberry. With excellent grip and balance, this smooth-textured, savory Shiraz will improve over the next 2-3 years and drink well through 2020.” eRobertParker.com

“Ripe and peppery, with a spicy note weaving over the black cherry, dried tomato, licorice and mint flavors that keep pulsing through the long, expressive finish." Wine Spectator

"Two Hands is a negociant operation run impeccably by Michael Twelftree. It reflects the best that can be sourced from all over South Australia.” eRobertParker.com
