The Royal Tokaji Wine Company's Aszu 6 Puttonyos 'Betsek' 1995 is an exceptional Tokaji, named after an old Magyar family.

Betsek's black volcanic topsoil contributes to the mineral and lovely black pepper characters in this fine sweet wine, with apricot and honey overtones.

The Royal Tokaji Wine Company was founded in 1990, and has rapidly become one of the finest wineries in Hungary, concentrating on high quality single vineyard fine wines from the first growth vineyards of Mezes Maly, Nyulaszo, Szt Tamas and Betsek. Hugh Johnson is a co-founder of the company. The Betsek has been served by President Putin in St Petersburg.
