Tamellini’s excellent new 2014 vintage is, in our opinion, a particularly successful year and quite possibly the best yet from them in terms of aromatic depth, balance and intensity. It is best served cool but not chilled, just like good white Burgundy.

Tamellini is one of the finest sources of genuinely good and traditional Soave from Italy’s Veneto region. Garganega is the variety that is used in the production of the best Soave, although, being a vigorous variety, yields must be kept low to maximise its aromatic qualities.

“Tamellini is an excellent source for generous, richly-flavored Soaves that also deliver superb value for the money. The estate certainly seems to be getting the most of its hillside vineyards, which are planted exclusively with the indigenous Garganega.” eRobertParker.com

Intense straw yellow colour. Lovely fresh, velvety mouthfeel, with concentrated white stone fruits, a biscuity dimension, balanced by underlying minerality and some zest. Finishes long with a really nice almond note.
