Estate Notes

Sharpham’s Pinot Noir is a lovely restrained, delicate style Pinot, which gains complexity from eight months ageing in old French oak barrels. Serve with wild game, mushroom dishes or even a hearty casserole.

Sharpham’s long Devon sun hours (yet coolish climate) provide the vines with a long growing season enabling a gentle ripening of the grapes, preserving their wonderful fresh aromas and flavours.

Reviews

A delicate and crunchy cool climate Pinot Noir style, with delightful nuances of wild strawberries, cherry, and even some subtle spice. Juicy bramble red berries and silky tannins.

“… vibrant, cherry-soaked, the definition of its variety no less, and the finish is crunchy and modern with tension and excitement…with wines like this they have locked horns with the big boys. I expect customers to be queuing down the street for this wine.” Matthew Jukes
