Torbreck

Torbreck was founded in 1994 by David Powell and has rapidly becomes one of the greatest producers of Barossa Valley Shiraz.

Torbreck is named after a forest in Scotland where Powell once worked as a lumberjack, the business has grown from his discovery of a few sections of old vines in 1992 which were on the verge of dying at the time. David nursed them back to strength and now produces small parcels of exceptional fruit to produce an enviable range of premium Barossa wine, including the legendary The Struie.
