Henschke

Henschke is regarded as the best medium-sized red wine producer in Australia, and has gone from strength-to-strength over the past three decades under the guidance of winemaker Stephen Henschke and viticulturist Prue Henschke.

The red wines fully capitalise on very old, low-yielding, high-quality vines from the Eden Valley and are superbly made with sensitive but positive use of small new oak barrels. The label Cyril Henschke is a tribute to one of Australia’s outstanding winemaking pioneers, who planted Cabernet Sauvignon in the Eden Valley in the 1960s.
