Over the last 30 years, Domaine Dujac has built a fine reputation for making wines of exceptional quality. Demand for Dujac wines has been consistently strong and compared to other well-known grandees of the region, they represents excellent value for money.
Jacques Seysses founded Domaine Dujac in 1968. Starting with 5 hectares, Jacques gradually acquired small parcels of land and by 1977 had 11 hectares. By 2005 a major purchase increased the land to 15.5 hectares, and from 2014 the Estate now owns vineyards in both the Côte de Nuit and Côte de Beaune.
From 1998 the next generation (sons Jeremy 1998, Alec 2003, and Jeremy’s wife in 2001) joined the business and quickly made changes to the wine making process. This includes expanding from Jacques own mantra of non-interventionism, and from 2001 experimenting with organic practises and then in 2003 biodynamic. Domaine Dujac received ‘Organic Agriculture’ certification in 2011.
