Château Haut-Bailly

Château Haut-Bailly is situated in Bordeaux’s left bank appellation of Graves in the commune of Pessac-Léognan (Graves’ premier sub-appellation), and is perfectly sited on high, gravelly ground.
Haut-Bailly, has become one of the superstars of Bordeaux since the American banker Robert Wilmers (now passed) took over in 1998, as recent vintages have admirably demonstrated. In fact, many experts currently consider the wines of Haut-Bailly to be on a par with some of the great growths of the Médoc, as well as having risen to one of the finest wines of the Pessec-Léognan. Haut-Bailly’s fine red wines combine power and concentration with silkiness.
