Estate Notes

Bourée's 2012 Charmes-Chambertin vintage is a charming, concentrated Pinot Noir of the old school.

A lovely maturing elegant pinot noir of the old school. A gastronomic wine in the truest sense that would go splendidly well with pheasant, partridge or other game birds.

Bourée still uses old wooden vats rather than stainless steel and the grapes are trodden by foot. And last but not least, Bourée only release their wines when they are ready to drink - a very refreshing practice in today’s market.

Reviews

Aromatically vivid and intense with a latent opulence of red fruits, floral rose and violet, refined spice, savoury note, and fresh mineral depth. Discreetly deep, concentrated and velvety on the palate with fine balance and aromatic dimension, very rich and long, this is a wine of evident finesse and great potential.
