Estate Notes

Bourée’s Les Epenottes vineyard is sited on the boundary with Pommard, and its Pinot Noirs display a fine balance between the power of Pommard and the finesse of Beaune.

Bourée still uses old wooden vats rather than stainless steel and the grapes are trodden by foot. And last but not least, Bourée only release their wines when they are ready to drink - a very refreshing practice in today’s market.

Reviews

Heady aromas characterised by floral musk and spice with refined blackcurrant, plum and fresh fig, and fresh mineral base. Generous, fine and well balanced, with good fresh depth, and ripe aromatic spread and length.
