Estate Notes

Nyetimber's Classic Cuvée is a great chance to enjoy an award-winning English sparkling wine and a serious alternative to Champagne.

The Classic Cuvée is crafted using the traditional method, whereby secondary fermentation occurs in bottle, and Nyetimber's chief winemaker, Cherie Spriggs, ensures that the wine adheres to an exact assemblage (blending) process to maximise its trademark structure and complexity. It is then aged for three years prior to release, to allow for sufficient post-disgorgement time.

The growth in English sparkling wine in recent years has been astonishing and Nyetimber’s wines are at the forefront of this revolution.

Pale gold colour, with fine streams of tiny bubbles. Delicate fruit flavours of melon, lemon and apricot combine brilliantly with proving bread aromas and vanilla that flow seemlessly into the mouth. Great structure, richness and depth with fine balance.
