Graham's 1977 vintage Port was purchased in its original wooden case.
Graham's port house owes its roots to a Glasgow-based textile business that opened an office in the nearby city of Oporto in the 20th Century. In 1820 office managers William and John Graham were given 27 pipes of Port wine in settlement of a bad debt. This Port was shipped to the parent company in Glasgow where it proved to be incredibly popular. Urged on by the parent company, William and John acquired and shipped more and more port to Scotland and grew a reputation as port shippers of distinction the world over. Today, Graham's is managed by the Symington family, again of Scottish descent.

"Medium ruby-red. Aromas of milk chocolate, plum, mint and violet. Full-bodied, with medium sweetness and lots of berry and cherry fruit. Very fruity and fresh. Long and lively." Wine Spectator
"Graham is another great port house, producing one of the deepest-colored and sweetest styles of vintage port. Along with Taylor and Fonseca, Graham has probably been the most consistent producer of great port in the post- World War II era. Their tawnys are quite good rather than exceptional, but their vintage ports are truly sublime and sumptuous." Robert Parker
