Estate Notes

Fondreche's Rosé yields from sandy soils and a vineyard which winemaker Sebastien Vincenti chose specifically for the vines in this blend - a classic southern French style Rosé - perfect alongside charcuterie, poached salmon and seafood. Please do not serve too chilled, or the delicately nuanced aromas will be lost.

Sebastien Vincenti loves his Ventoux terroir and believes that his vines are stronger when treated naturally, including 100% organic manure, no chemical herbicides, and complimentary planting between rows to prevent erosion, promote microbial life and aerate the soil.

Reviews

“Possibly the finest Rosé I’ve tasted from this estate, the 2016 Ventoux Rosé sports a medium salmon colour as well as terrific notes of tangerines, pink grapefruit and citrus. It’s a clean, crisp, delicious Rosé that’s a perfect meal starter.” Jeb Dunnuck

Very fresh with soft red fruits and a note of blackcurrant, well focused, mineral and deep. Deliciously smoky minerality and fresh fruit acidity to balance the fat volume of fruit, with good aromatic length behind, making a versatile accompaniment for either grilled fish or barbecued meats.
