Fondrèche's most recent release of its stunning southern French white is wonderfully complex, ripe and fat, balanced by its underlying mineral signature.
The 2016 Blanc vintage has benefited from the addition of Vermentino (aka rolle) and a high proportion of Roussanne in the blend. It was fermented in oak barrel and cask, then racked immdiately, put into tank with the lees and bottled after six months.

Winemaker Sebastien Vincenti loves his terroir and believes that his vines are stronger when treated naturally, including 100% organic manure, no chemical herbicides, and complimentary planting between rows to prevent erosion, promote microbial life and aerate the soil.
