Dow's Vintage Port 1977 was purchased in its original wooden cases and comes from a great Port vintage. It is labelled 'Silver Jubilee' and shows some signs of wear and tear.
For over a century Dow's has followed a policy of investing in premium quality vineyards, and was one of the first port houses to buy quintas in the remote eastern reaches of the Douro Valley at the end of the 19th century.
The backbone of Dow's Vintage Ports is drawn from the company's finest vineyards - the Quinta do Bomfim and Senhora da Riberia – each property contributing to the wine's unique character and class.
Aged in wood for approximately 2 years and bottled unfiltered, Dow's Vintage Ports are considered to be amongst the finest Vintage Ports produced. Please note: bottle shown is for illustrative purposes only.
