Dominus Estate 2004
"...a creamy, opulent texture, but remains light on its feet. This sexy wine is showing exceptionally well..." Robert Parker
|Grape Blend||Cabernet Sauvignon 92%, Cabernet Franc 5%, Petit Verdot 3%|
Dominus 2004 was purchased in its original wooden case.
The Dominus is one of California's top Cabernets from the State's leading Napa Valley region. Dominus, which was established by the Bordeaux winemaker Christian Moueix, has become renowned for its complexity and earthy character, which pays tribute to the Napanook terroir where Christian spends most of his time; one because he loves it there and two, because he knows that great wines are made in great vineyards.

"Like so many 2004s, the 2004 Dominus is a full-bodied wine showing brilliantly at age ten, with loads of complex cedar, kirsch, Christmas fruitcake, black currants and spice box. It has a creamy, opulent texture, but remains light on its feet. This sexy wine is showing exceptionally well and is best drunk over the next 10-15 years. Not one of the longest-lived wines from Dominus, but it is certainly at a wonderful point in its evolution right now." Robert Parker
