Estate Notes

Dom Perignon 1998 was purchased in its original wooden cases - a rare Champagne for those very special occasions.

Dom Perignon is Moët and Chandon’s top cuvée, named after the Benedictine monk & cellar master at Hautvillers, creator and refiner of sparkling wine making in the late 17th century.

The quality of Cuvée Dom Perignon is attributed to the fact that it is only made in truly exceptional vintage years from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir; which are picked from only the very best crus of the entire region.

“…the 1998 Dom Perignon exhibits aromas and flavors of lemon oil, orange rind, and brioche in a medium-bodied, zesty, rich, moderately intense style.” Robert Parker

“Exuding honey, vanilla and light coffee notes, this creamy Champagne straddles youth and maturity. Well-balanced, fine and vibrant. The coffee and vanilla notes will develop with age.” Wine Spectator
