Estate Notes

Bonville’s 2010 vintage Champagne comes with just that extra degree of complexity than the NV, but like the NV is a great food Champagne - perfect alongside oysters or smoked salmon bilinis.

Traditional in style, the 2010 possesses exquisite structure, weight and balance that are the hallmarks of some of the best vineyard sites of the Blanc de Blancs district - the region’s quality heartland. In fact, as testament to the estate’s quality, Bonville once supplied grapes to Bollinger no less!

Reviews

"Bonville Champagnes are the epitome of blanc de blancs, showing much more complexity than the mono-terroir wines of smaller growers. A great discovery." Decanter magazine

Lovely fine bead. Aromas of fresh fruits (mirabelle, pear and banana) with toasty notes. Delicate, yet generous and rich in the mouth with mango, orange and mirabelle and complex bready, yeasty, citrus and hazelnut notes. Serious, full-bodied Champagne and a great food wine too - try with quail or even lamb shoulder.
