Bollinger's Special Cuvee 007 Limited Edition NV is a celebration of over 40 years of the special partnership between Bollinger and James Bond. A great gift for James Bond fans.
As the Official Champagne of 007 and the upcoming film No Time To Die, Champagne Bollinger has produced a limited edition gift box that brings together three icons: Bollinger’s signature Special Cuvée, the Aston Martin DB5 and James Bond.
Bollinger’s Special Cuvée Champagne comprises a majority of Pinot Noir in its blend, from the House’s own vineyards, and was matured for three years. The name of this cuvée dates back to 1911, when Georges Bollinger’s British agent gave him the idea for the name Special Cuvée, thinking that the French expression brut sans année was no match for such a subtle champagne.
Champagne Bollinger was established in 1829, when it was created by Jacques Bollinger and Paul Renaudin. Bollinger remains under the control of the wider family and is synonymous with rich, complex, classic Pinot Noir dominated Champagnes with great aging potential. Around 75% of Bollinger's grapes are harvested from its own vineyards to ensure quality.
"...notes of crisp yellow orchard fruit, freshly baked bread, clear honey and orange peel, with little sign of the nuttiness to come with bottle age. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, muscular and incipiently textural, with a deep core, ripe acids and a pinpoint mousse...will have fine gastronomic potential with a little bottle age." robertparker.com
