This vintage displays a lovely ripeness, with citrus to the fore, a scent of wet stone, and greengage plum. The palate focuses in on ripe citrus, and yellow plum characters; these drive right through, the palate, then the wine starts to narrow down as, the focused acidity steers the wine. The nature of the fruit, with a high, degree of acidity, dictates the style in which the wine is made. The ferment was, stopped by chilling and racking to another tank. Filtered but not, fined. "Slightly sweet wine with reasonably restrained green apple and citrus flavours. Some interesting sweet-and-sour tension..." Bob Campbell MW
