Vergelegen's DNA is a great Bordeaux-inspired red; taut and linear with dark fruits and minerality. A great food wine. Vergelegen's DNA is from the estate's Reserve range and from a warm year which saw very healthy grapes at perfect ripeness; grapes were hand-picked and the wine aged in 100% new French oak barrels for 16 months.
