Mendoza is Argentina's finest wine region, a region synonymous with the country's finest Malbec, including those highly-acclaimed fine red wines of Achaval Ferrer.

The Mendoza benefits from a long, dry growing seasoning which helps soften Malbec’s thick, tannin-rich skins. High diurnal temperature ranges (hot days and cool nights) facilitate ripe grapes that benefit from cool night-time respite. Many estates are situated at altitude, where low humidity keeps vineyards practically pest free. Achaval Ferrer is one of the finest Malbec producers here.
