Discover one of Beaujolais' finest producers. Domaine Lagneau crafts serious cru (village appellation) wines redolent of unique terroirs from low-yielding old vines, with concentrated fruits and underlying minerality.
Beaujolais is Burgundy’s most southerly district, extending from just north of Lyon to the city of Mâcon. However, it is usually considered independently of Burgundy, because its wines are produced from Gamay rather than Pinot Noir. There are 10 Beaujolais Crus (village appellations), including: Côte de Brouilly; Juliénas; Morgon; Moulin-à-Vent; Fleurie, and Régnié) which produce the finest Beaujolais. Each cru has its own unique style – from the masculine Morgon to distinctly floral and feminine Fleurie.
