New Zdaland Wines

New Zealand's wine scene has literally come from nowhere in the early 1970s to be at the forefront of innovative, environmentally-friendly, sustainable winegrowing, and this now great wine country is renowned for its fine single varietal wines courtesy of a movement towards non-interventionist winemaking and letting the terroirs do the talking.

New Zealand comprises 10 major wine regions across its North and South islands, with Central Otago and Marlborough (in the South Island) and Hawkes Bay (in the North Island) leading the way. Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc are, of course, New Zealand’s signature grape varieties, but the scene is constantly evolving, with the country's finest wineries (including Auntsfield, Cloudy Bay, Craggy Range, Dog Point and Felton Road) producing word-class wines from the likes of Cabernets Franc and Sauvignon, Merlot, Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris, and Sémillon.

We have decided to expand our range of fine Kiwi wines in line with increasing demand and the quality of the produce on offer, and we aim to grow our list further over the coming year, with more great New Zealand wineries to be listed; so, watch this space!
