Estate Notes

Marchesi Piero Antinori’s Tignanello is situated in the heart of the Chianti Classico region, with a reputation for producing modern styled Super-Tuscan reds.

Tignanello was in part set up to dispel the appalling reputation Chianti had got itself into in the 1970s. However, the hugely respected Antinori family has a distinguished history of winemaking and banking in Tuscany dating back to the 13th Century – that's 26 generations!

“Delicious Tignanello. Rich aromas of chocolate, berry and tobacco. Medium- to full-bodied, with medium, firm tannins and a long succulent finish.” Wine Spectator
