Pierre Bourée

Pierre Bourée was founded by Pierre Bourée (himself) and his nephew Louis Vallet in 1864.

Bernard Vallet now runs this high quality négociant and keeps in close touch with his favourite growers so that he can be in the best position to buy the parcels that he wants at the best prices. He also produces exceptionally fine Burgundy from three of his own holdings and is known for his traditional Pinot Noirs. But Bourée's whites have become equally outstanding since Bernard took control of the winemaking. Grapes are trodden by foot and wines are only released when they are ready to drink.

We are delighted to announce the arrival of the 2011 vintage with great savings - from their superb village wines - to their Premier and Grand Cru bottlings. As you know, fine quality Burgundy does not come cheap, and these wines offer unmissable value for near- to medium-term drinking.
