Estate Notes

Fondrèche's most recent release of its stunning southern French white is wonderfully complex, ripe and fat, balanced by its underlying mineral signature.

Winemaker Sebastien Vincenti loves his terroir and believes that his vines are stronger when treated naturally, including 100% organic manure, no chemical herbicides, and complimentary planting between rows to prevent erosion, promote microbial life and aerate the soil.

Fondreche's entry-level white is then aged on its lees in oak for six months where it matures and develops further complexity and structure.

"...this domaine has a unique terroir and produces a bevy of high-quality wines that emphasize purity and freshness, without ever skimping on fruit or texture." Jeb Dunnuck, The Wine Advocate

Ripe, fresh, youthful aromas marked by young Vermentino (grapefruit), but others will emerge. Very well-balanced ripeness and acidity on the palate: intense and mineral on the front, fat and fresh in the centre with very good depth, long aromatic and smoky (mineral) development. Fresh and intense on the long finish.
