Estate Notes

Château Pétrus is Pomerol's finest wine and the 1989 Bordeaux vintage was rated 100 points by Robert Parker. Pétrus 1989 is incredibly rare, and opportunities to get hold of it are few and far between.

Pétrus produces tiny quantities of wine that almost everyone has heard of, yet very few people are fortunate enough to taste. Everything at Pétrus is small-scale, apart from the greatness of the wine, and just over 2000 cases are made each year with phenomenal care and attention.

Reviews

“Château Pétrus is nothing more than one of the most satisfying, most profound wines that tastes as good at the end of the bottle as at the beginning…If you a lucky enough to find yourself with a glass of Pétrus in your hand, put reputation to one side and allow your senses to make the judgment.” Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
