Estate Notes

Château Miaudoux's Blanc 2014 is a great relative value 'Bordeaux style' white from Bergerac, the other great vineyard in the Aquitaine. Made predominantly from Sauvignon Blanc, this dry white is zesty, crisp and moreish.

Château Miaudoux, situated on the sun-baked hillsides of Saussignac, has been a certified organic producer since 1986 – amazing foresight from its tenacious winemaker Gérard Cuisset – and around half the members of the Saussignac Producers Union have since followed.

Reviews

Fresh, appealing ripe pear, with an attractive citrus edge to balance. In the mouth it has a good central core of pear and apple fruit, ripe with slightly buttery/limey notes. Well made and attractive with good, ripe persistence.
