Martinozzi vineyards
Still, relatively unknown, the wines of Martinozzi are improving with every vintage; and represent some of the best value Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino available today, particularly as they recently have employed consultant oenologist Paolo Caciorgna.
When an estate appoints Paolo this always grabs our attention, our ears become pricked as his background and undoubted skill as a great winemaker are there for all to see. Paolo will help oversee the winemaking process, and we expect to see great offerings in future vintages from this estate… after all, it’s not as if they were bad to start with…
The ancient farm of Castelli Martinozzi sits in the astonishingly beautiful Tuscan hillside. Its mixture of vines, olive groves and woods provide an ideal microclimate, which guarantees good quality wine, even in trickier years.
