Valli Vineyards' winemaker, Grant Taylor, has dedicated his life to producing top-flight New Zealand Pinot Noir with the aim of highlighting the differences in Otago's sub-regions.

Taylor is one of New Zealand’s most awarded Pinot Noir winemakers, his list of accolades including twice winning the trophy for ‘Best Pinot Noir’ at the world’s largest wine competition, the London International Wine Challenge – a feat achieved by no other winemaker in the world.

Ripe, plummy aromas of black cherry, violet, and framboise eau de vie, with spice and mineral notes beneath.  Delicious weight of ripe fruit  with some aromatic black tea notes. Can appear a little drying on the palate at first but softens out and develops particularly with food.
