Terenzuola’s entry level Vermentino from the Colli di Luni (lit. hills of the moon) is on a completely different planet to most commercial Vermentino – the aromatics are simply celestial.

The Colli di Luni is an intriguing DOC with vineyards both in Tuscany and Liguria. And when winemaker Luigi Giuliani returned to the area from New York after the Great Depression of the 1930s, he bought an area of land in the Fosdinovo region knowing that it would be ideal for the growing of vines and olive groves.  And how he was proved right. Terenzuola's high density coastal vineyards produce a wonderful expression of Vermentino and are one of the very best accompaniments to fish and seafood we know.

The current winemaker, Ívan Giuliani, who took the helm of this small family-run business after returning from military service, has brought Terenzuola to the top of its genre. 

Lovely hay, straw and white stone fruit aromas with a striking mineral streak. The palate has a super purity of fruit, again white stone fruits with hints of citrus and a long mineral finish. Excellent.
