Roberto Voerzio is one of Piedmont's elite producers, renowned for his cult Barolos. Roberto is a moedrnist, steering clear of the traditional tannic Barolo style, and cultivates his very modest 10 hectares in the finest sites of La Morra.

Roberto is very much hands on and tends to each vine's needs personally. Green harvesting is rigorous, producing low yields of concentrated fruit. But if the fruit in a particular vineyard does not quite make his high grading in a particular vintage then, quite simply, the wine does not get made. It is therefore not surprising that he has become one of Piedmont's winemaking icons.
