Nicodemi Cerasuolo is an exceptional organic rosé.

Cerasuolo is the only appellation in Italy in which rosé must be made by the traditional technique of macerating grape skins to obtain its wonderful deep pink hue, rather than via the ‘salasso’ method, which involves bleeding off red wine early on in its vinification. As the Montepulciano grape is rich in colour, Nicodemi has made this extremely elegant rosé by employing an extremely short extraction time.

A lovely expansive nose with bags of ripe red berry and creamy aromas, really enticing. The juicy palate is packed with red fruits, reminiscent of raspberry ripple ice-cream. A distinct mineral edge and vitality keeps it all in focus. Very moreish. Truly excellent.
