Lynch-Bages has been in the Cazes family for the last 70 years, and under the current proprietor, Jean-Michel Cazes, it has risen to international fame. A proud, gregarious man, Jean-Michel has constantly championed the wines of Lynch-Bages, Pauillac and Bordeaux. So much so, that President Chirac bestowed upon him the country’s highest decoration – a Knighthood in the Legion of Honour.

Not as concentrated or thick as the '00 but classy, firmly tannic and persistent. Still a bit bound-up but with obvious sweetness. Late note of dark chocolate."
