Château Duhart-Milon is a 4th growth Pauillac estate. Its wines are classically elegant and restrained with great balance and real finesse.
Duhart-Milon, which is owned by Domaines Barons de Rothschild, is far less grand in appearance than its neighbour and more illustrious stablemate Lafite. In fact, it is one of the few left bank châteaux in the 1855 Bordeaux classification that doesn't have a château, and its wines are finished off in a large warehouse.
But despite this lack of grandeur, the quality of its produce, as with many estates under the distinguished Rothschild stable, is very high. This is largely due to the considerable investment ploughed into its vineyards and cellars in the 21st century.
