Chapoutier's Ermitage Le Pavillon 2000 comes from a great Rhône vintage. Enjoyable young, with the structure to age well.

Chapoutier is a legend of the northern Rhône, consistently producing one of the finest Hermitages. And the great 2000 vintage is no exception, scoring 98 points from Robert Parker.

Chapoutier was established in 1808 by Polydor Chapoutier and has been passed from father to son ever since. The brothers, Michel and Marc Chapoutier, inherited the estate in 1977 and have transformed a rather lacklustre affair into one of the true greats of the Rhône – transforming both the business and the cellars.
