Martinozzi Rosso di Montalcino is an excellent entry-level wine from an ancient estate with a very bright future set in stunningly beautiful Tuscan hillsides. Still, relatively unknown, the wines of Martinozzi are improving with every vintage. With excellent sited vineyards and the appointment of Paolo Caciorgna to oversee the winemaking process, we expect to see great offerings in future vintages from this estate. And after all, it’s not as if they were bad to start with! Martinozzi’s excellent entry-level wine is a perfect complement to game and strong cheeses like pecorino and parmigiano reggiano. Tasting Notes..Lovely aromas of red cherry, raspberry and rosehip. delicate and elegant wine with a savoury red berry led palate. silky tannins and good vitality. |
