Bourée Bourgogne Rouge 2006 is an open, accessible Burgundian Pinot Noir that delivers a lot of pleasure for a relatively small Burgundy price.

Bourgogne refers to the region we know as Burgundy, and in terms of the Bourée Bourgogne Rouge, it refers to a wine made from grapes grown in a number of different appellations from less prestigious sites as their premier wines. However, in the right hands, lesser terroirs are still capable of producing excellent wines that often rival the better labels of other estates. This is certainly true of the great value 2006 vintage.

Aromatic red fruits with notes of cranberry, spice and musk. The palate is well balanced and supple, with good tannins, and a ripe fruit centre and finish. An excellent expression of Pinot Noir.
