This is an older and export bottling of Benriach 10-year-old Single Malt Scotch Whisky in a litre bottle, purchased from a whisky collector.
BenRiach (lit. the Hill of the Red Deer) is typical of the great Speyside distilleries, and this 10-year-old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is in excellent condition and comes with its original case.
Whisky writer Michael Jackson referred to Benriach as one of the most fascinating distilleries in Scotland. Its output is not entirely typical of the Speyside region in that its current owner – a South African consortium with Billy Walker at the helm – has released a large variety of different malts, including rich, heavily peated whiskies which give the islands a run for their money.
